French Bohemian romanticism meets 80's chunky vintage in this hairdresser

Located in a former music studio, edgy yet refined, Polly & Stone was designed to reflect the travels and styles of its award-winning hairstyles and owners, Jasmine Redstone and Jack Pollard.

Working with the clients to develop and deliver the interior design, Studio Highfield have created a space that offers a high-end salon experience that feels more like a hotel; The reception is designed to also feel like a bar, with a high counter and bar seating opposite so clients are greeted with a glass of champagne upon arrival; booth seating with inbuilt USB charging provides an experience where clients aren’t confined to traditional salon cutting chair and have the ability to work whilst waiting for colour to set.

The fun, hospitality like vibe is complemented by the soft linen curtains that hide the wash chairs away, so a wellness space is created for these moments of head massage and relaxation.

The cool, earthy colour palette is offset by the generous use of forest green in the leather booth upholstery and stone benchtops and throughout the salon, sleek curved forms and solid upholstered areas offer comfortable, effortless luxury, enhanced by thoughtful material choices that invite a tactile, memorable experience that doesn’t compromise on efficiency or style.
